and consider seriously on starting a home-based business instead !
1. Telecommuting Jobs are hard to Find–Are you looking?
Most of the real work-at-home jobs are for highly specialized skills positions like
programming, transcription etc. They all require specific knowledge & employers only hire
experienced candidates. Finding a home business that can allow you to follow your passion & do something that you really LOVE.
You could learn how to translate, transcript or even to program or on a different note, a home business can be anything you want it to be.
2.Can a Telecommuting Job offer much Flexibility
Let’s see, my boss picks my clients and I may not like the people that I am stuck working with.
If I had my own business, I get to pick my own clients/business partners.
3. You mean I’m not in control of my Job security.
If I was a telecommuter, would I be subject to downsizing & even back on
the job search track and then would I know where to look for a job?
Could I get a written agreement that would have my arrangements set in stone?
4.Management looking over your shoulder Even companies that use telecommuting have strict checks & balances to ensure that you’re
not lying around watching television or swimming at the pool. You can’t afford to be lured away
by many distractions of the home office. Employers want to know that their employees are being productive.
One thing for sure if you are a home-business owner, the difference is you call the shots. Yes with your own business
you are the management, the big cheese- your own boss. You set your own goals, and the pace and a measuring check list.
You stay on track by holding deadlines to fulfill your weekly, monthly, and yearly achievements.
5. Last, but not lease….. Most important is…
When you are a business owner you get to take vacation whenever you want.
You get more tax breaks than someone that focus on earned income.
There are many more reasons to stop looking for a telecommute job & start a home
business… These two make better reasons than any, right off the top of my head.
